POEX explores performative poetry through the intersection of concrete, experimental, spatial and sound poetry. Developed by the artistic collective Retroescavadora, the project brought together a series of performances presented in Porto, Coimbra and Madrid, transforming poetic text into visual, sonic and bodily experiences. I developed an interactive visual narrative and a digital media ecosystem designed for live performance. The system combines body and hand interaction, live video tracking, sensors, cameras, video and sound feeds, and real-time interactive content developed in Unity. Text becomes a performative material: live cameras track and transform words and visual elements in real time, while the performers' gestures and movements influence the digital environment. Some of the visual explorations were also inspired by the work of Portuguese experimental poets. The resulting ecosystem provides a flexible environment for connecting different interfaces, sensors, software and media streams, allowing multiple applications and interactive systems to communicate and converge during a live performance.
