Os Rastreadores
Premiered in 2024 at the closing ceremony of the 48th edition of CINANIMA, Os Rastreadores is a contemporary circus performance by Jorge Lix and Felipe Contreras, adapted from Dual Sim by Erva Daninha. The performance explores sharing, identity and digital tracking through the constant exchange of objects between two performers. Tangible actions are extended into the digital space through real-time interactive video projection and tracking systems. In collaboration with Escola Superior de Media Artes e Design, I developed the interactive visual system that tracks and responds to the performers' movements, creating a digital extension of their bodies and the objects they manipulate. The projected environment becomes an active participant in the performance, blurring the boundaries between physical and digital space.
